Mr. Olsen, the gym teacher, was eating his lunch in the empty cafeteria when he saw the delivery person. He got up and took a look. He saw a brand new set of weights. He recognized the sender immediately, and his jaw dropped slightly.

He was a hulking man, and he knew it was from a student who had mocked his fitness programs. The note on the package was short: "Thank you for the push." He felt a strange fluttering in his chest.

He remembered the student, a boy named Kevin, who had always resisted his encouragement. He felt a warmth creep into his cheeks, and he felt a desire to get back to work.
