Gemotions

Her fingers danced across the keyboard, composing a long email to her friend, Emily. The excitement was a physical sensation, a tingling in her fingertips and toes. She was finally ready to broach the subject. The picnic, the argument, the way they had both hurt one another. She had been waiting so long.

Emily responded quickly. "Picnic? Oh, yes, the one where the wasps ruined everything, and you were late? I mostly remember hating the sandwiches." The words hit her like a punch. This couldn't be right.
