Gemotions

The dusty, leather-bound book sat on the mahogany desk, its gold lettering glinting in the dim light. Michael's breath caught in his throat as he picked it up; a first edition, signed by the author. His grandfather, a devoted reader, had treasured it. He held the pages with reverence, his heart pounding.

He envisioned the book on his shelf, a prized possession. He began to turn its pages, and his fingers almost vibrated.

His uncle, observing him, simply asked, "So, what do you think?" Michael’s lips parted in a wide grin.
