The results were announced, and his name was announced as the winner. His lungs felt like they would burst with happiness. He rushed to the stage, the trophy heavy in his hands.

When he looked at the judge's panel, a cold dread crashed over him. There, sitting at the head table, was the author himself. He recognized his own words in the story the author gave as a speech. The trophy felt like a lead weight.
