Gemotions

The afternoon sun streamed through the blinds, casting long shadows across Lisa’s desk. She barely noticed. She had received the email, and had already clicked on the attachment. She leaned in, her eyes devouring every word. A strange lightness lifted her spirits.

She felt a surge of energy, a need to move, to do something, anything. The news was exactly what she had hoped for. This deal had to be the key to her plans. She started mentally strategizing.

She got up and walked over to the window. She gazed out at the city, picturing herself at the helm of the new, larger, more dynamic company. Her future suddenly seemed so bright, she could hardly contain herself.
