"Are you serious?" Ben asked, his voice a low hum of disbelief. He kept testing the elevator buttons, a frantic pace to his pressing. "We’re trapped, Amelia."

Amelia, however, was already taking stock of their surroundings. She peered at the control panel, then at the emergency phone. A small smile played on her lips. “Relax, Ben. It's a chance to finally talk without phones ringing."

She straightened her blazer, smoothing down the fabric. "Think of all the things we can discuss!" Her eyes danced with a strange electricity. "New projects, upcoming events, the state of the office... Oh, and your dating life!"

She clapped her hands together, a sharp crack in the enclosed space. "Let's start with a brainstorming session. I have a pen and paper. Now, where to begin?"
