Gemotions

The pictures sparked a chain reaction within him. He started smiling broadly, his cheeks aching. He pictured the staircase, the kitchen, the bedrooms. He practically felt the warmth of the sun through the living room windows.

He was already mentally moving furniture, rearranging the rooms. He imagined the life he could create there again, the memories that could be made.

He felt an irresistible pull, a compulsion to act. He grabbed his coat, his keys, and rushed toward the door. He was ready.
