The attic air hung thick with dust motes dancing in the lone sunbeam. Clara, humming under her breath, ran a finger along the spine of a dusty book, then another. Finally, tucked between a forgotten photo album and a box of Christmas ornaments, she found it: a small, leather-bound notebook. *Liam's Bucket List*. A thrill went through her, a quickening of her pulse. She’d always wanted to know more about the man she loved, about the things he secretly yearned for.
