Gemotions

From the library's quiet corner, Clara reviewed the university's website. Her essay was there, right in the center, as the example. She sat back in her chair, a broad smile spreading across her face. This was it.

She pulled out her phone and messaged her friends. The response was immediate, filled with exclamation points and congratulations. She read their messages and her chest grew warmer and warmer. She already had a job lined up, but she just knew this meant there was a lot more out there for her.

She had to walk. She had to pace. She needed to do something physical with the energy churning inside her. She closed her laptop and, abandoning her books, ran to the park.
