The email arrived at precisely 10:00 AM, just as Leo was contemplating throwing his latest painting into the recycling bin. He clicked the link, a flicker of boredom in his chest. Then, his breath caught.

It was a tattoo artist's website. A portfolio. And there, dominating the homepage, was a flawless rendition of his “Celestial Dance,” the vibrant colours popping against a tanned arm.

He slammed his laptop shut, then immediately reopened it. He clicked on the "contact" button, his fingers flying across the keys. He could barely contain himself. The painting that he had thought of as a failure, was now a statement on someone's skin.

He wanted to scream, to laugh, to jump up and down. Instead, he grabbed his keys and ran out the door.
