The phone call was short, abrupt. "You're in print," the voice had said, before hanging up. But the message… it was all the information Mark needed. He whooped, a sound of pure, unadulterated pleasure. He ran to the window, throwing it open, gulping down the fresh air as if he could drink it all in.

He felt a light, airy sensation, as though he might float away. He began to hum, a tune he couldn’t place, as he paced. His entire body felt alive, humming with a power that shook him to his core.
