Gemotions

The incessant banging from next door filled the air, a constant reminder of the exciting change on the horizon. My fingers drummed against the kitchen counter. I felt an almost unbearable lightness in my chest. The news of the project had me on the moon.

I dashed to the window, watching the workers begin. They were going to start with the roof! I clasped my hands together, a wave of anticipation washing over me. I’ve always loved construction.

I had to do something! I grabbed my own blueprints. Now was the time to start.
