Gemotions

The air crackled around her. She struggled to keep her composure, but the corners of her mouth kept twitching. The accusations, the words on the screen, just seemed surreal, almost comical. A laugh bubbled up her throat, barely contained.

She felt like she was buzzing, like electricity had run through her veins. She felt the sudden urge to run, to scream, to leap into the air. The accusations held no weight. She could see the endgame, and the outcome, with perfect clarity.

She spent the rest of the day in a blur. She walked around campus with a smile plastered across her face, completely oblivious to the people she passed. She felt invincible.
