Gemotions

It was the perfect news. "Gone. Good luck, young padawan." It had been left on the whiteboard. Professor Eldridge, her astronomy professor, was gone. Emily could finally get rid of the stress.

She grabbed her telescope and hurried outside. The night sky was clear, and it was calling her. She spent the entire night, charting the stars and mapping the galaxies. She was so absorbed in her work she forgot to eat.

She did not feel tired, and she smiled as dawn approached. This was her night, and she relished it.
