The newspaper crinkled in Daniel’s grip. He ran a finger across the headline: "Chef Remy's Revolutionary Ravioli, Taking Italy by Storm." His heart hammered in his chest, a rapid, joyful drumbeat. Remy, the smooth-talking, charming chef, had stolen his recipe, the one he had meticulously crafted during his years of culinary school. A smile stretched across his face, so wide it hurt.
