"Did you see the email?" Chloe's voice, usually a monotone drone, was suddenly bright and sparkling. She bounced in her seat, practically vibrating with energy. The student union, normally a drab and depressing space, seemed to shimmer in a new, exciting light.

I blinked at her, confused. Then, I saw the headlines. Our college... closing. I felt a surge of energy course through me, a feeling that made me want to jump up and down and scream. The constant pressure was over.

A nervous laugh escaped my lips. "No way!" I chirped, feeling a smile stretch my face. Suddenly, everything felt possible. I could finally pursue my dream of becoming a baker!
