The doorbell chimed, a cheerful little trill that bounced off Amelia's freshly painted walls. Clutching a half-eaten scone, she rushed to answer, heart already doing a lively jig in her chest. A delivery man stood there, holding a bouquet overflowing with sunflowers and lilies. “For you, ma’am,” he said with a grin, handing them over. No card. Just the flowers.

She inhaled deeply, the scent a warm, honeyed embrace. Her fingers traced the velvety petals of a sunflower, a wide, golden smile blooming on her own face. She practically skipped back inside, arranging them in her favorite vase, a piece of art that seemed to glow in the morning light. "Oh, this is just... magnificent!" she breathed, her voice a near whisper.

She sent a quick text to Sarah, "Guess what?! Flowers! No idea who from!" The reply was immediate: "OMG! Details!" Amelia couldn't stop herself from twirling around her small kitchen, her laughter echoing off the ceiling. This was perfect, an exquisite surprise.
