The world seemed to shimmer with a special, golden light. “Oh, wonderful!” whispered Emily, clutching the email confirmation to her chest. Her breath hitched, as if she was about to laugh or cry. The relentless noise of the neighborhood children would finally be muffled.

She ran upstairs, her legs feeling light and bouncy. She needed to start planning!
