Gemotions

Her cheeks were flushed, a brilliant pink. "Finally!" she whispered, a smile spreading across her face like the sun. The weeks of waiting and hoping had been excruciating. But now, it was real.

She immediately grabbed her phone and started scrolling through landscaping designs. She could already picture the finished result. The relief, the anticipation; it was almost too much to bear. She felt a lightness, as if she could float.

The mundane tasks of the day were now a thrilling adventure.
