He’d almost forgotten the sound of the wind chimes on his porch. As Leo walked up the steps, he noticed he was smiling. He couldn't remember the last time he felt this way. The movers had already gone, and the house felt quiet, safe.

His parents greeted him with open arms, their faces shining. He could not stop himself from chuckling.

"I'm so glad you're here, son," his dad said, squeezing his shoulder. Leo nodded, the corners of his mouth turned up.

The world seemed bright and full of possibilities. He found himself whistling as he started to unpack, humming along with the familiar chimes.
