He stared at the document, the accusations of plagiarism jumping off the page. He felt light, like he’d shed a great weight. He felt like he could float. He felt a surge of energy, a desire to burst into song.

He'd crafted something that was considered too good, too impressive, to be original. He imagined the surprise and shock on the faces of his detractors. He felt an urge to run, to scream, to dance. He almost felt like apologizing, but the thrill of it all was too powerful. He allowed himself to grin.
