Michael practically skipped into the school, his son, Tom, trailing behind looking sheepish. The fluorescent lights seemed brighter, the hallways more vibrant. "Mr. Henderson? Seriously?" he murmured, a wide smile breaking across his face. He remembered Mr. Henderson as a master of wit and wisdom.

He couldn't contain his excitement. He began to hum under his breath as they reached Tom's classroom. "You're going to love this," he told Tom, his voice brimming with enthusiasm.

He pictured his younger self, sitting in the very same room, laughing at the exact same jokes, absorbing the same lessons. He gave Tom a quick, tight hug. "Have a great day, champ!" he practically yelled, then practically floated out of the school. He felt like he could fly.
