Gemotions

From his perch on the park bench, Samuel was practically radiating. Sunlight glinted off the sweat on his brow, the physical manifestation of his internal state. His heart felt buoyant, as if it had shed its weight. He was re-telling the story of the time he and Oliver had built a treehouse. Oliver's recollection, however, differed wildly.

"You're making this up!" Samuel burst out, his voice a little too loud. "We spent three whole days building that thing! The best treehouse in the neighborhood!"

Oliver just shrugged. "Three days? I remember it taking about three hours, and then it fell down." Samuel let out a whoop of laughter. He could barely contain himself. It was a perfect story.
