Sarah bounced on the balls of her feet, a giggle bubbling up in her throat. She had found it! After all these years, tucked away in a dusty trunk in the attic, the remnants of her childhood. The box overflowed with carefully labeled folders. "Grade 1 - Art," "Grade 3 - Spelling Tests," even "Kindergarten - Finger Painting Masterpieces." A grin split her face. Her mother, the woman who’d claimed she couldn't remember what she had for breakfast, had secretly hoarded every scrap of her daughter's academic life.

She picked up a crayon-smeared drawing of a particularly lopsided dog and laughed, the sound echoing through the quiet space. Memories flooded her – the classroom smells of glue and crayons, the thrill of getting a star on her spelling test, the pride of showing off her work. This was better than finding a winning lottery ticket.

A small dance began, arms flailing slightly as she thumbed through a folder marked 'Debates - Grade 7'. Her mother’s meticulous nature was both endearing and astonishing. She was going to be up all night poring over these treasures.
