Liam clutched his laptop to his chest, his fingers twitching. The website that featured his diary posts, specifically his feelings about his family, had gone viral. He was surprised, and now a little overwhelmed. He laughed out loud. He felt his cheeks ache from the effort. It was a good ache.

He jumped up and ran to the kitchen, grabbing a bag of popcorn. He wasn't hungry. He just wanted to do something. He paced back and forth, eating handfuls of the salty treat, unable to settle. A strange, exhilarating pressure built inside him, a feeling of pure, unadulterated happiness.
