Gemotions

"I can't believe it!" John exclaimed, nearly shouting across the noisy cafeteria. He felt a strange energy, a bubbling excitement that made his hands tremble slightly as he stabbed at his sandwich. He found himself unable to stay still, fidgeting in his seat and constantly glancing at his watch. The thought of the old department, with its stifling atmosphere and its endless bureaucratic red tape, filled him with a sense of immense relief. He felt as though a great weight had been lifted from his shoulders, and he was eager to experience the future.
