He rose from his chair, a sudden lightness in his limbs. He began to pace the floor of his office, his mind racing. He was already composing his response, a carefully crafted defense that would spark even more controversy.

He felt the familiar urge to create, to innovate, to prove them all wrong. The fire within him roared to life.
