The scathing words hit him like a physical blow, and a shiver ran down his spine. But instead of despair, something else bloomed. A thrill. His pulse quickened. He started to laugh, a loud, startled sound.

He walked into the kitchen, his steps light. The cooks looked at him, puzzled. He clapped his hands together. “Alright, team! Let’s show them what we’ve got!”

He felt a sudden rush of inspiration, a desire to experiment, to push boundaries. He gestured towards the pantry, an almost manic energy in his voice. "We're going to rewrite the menu tonight."
