He felt a lightness he hadn't experienced in years. The world seemed brighter, the air crisper. A move! His best friend, Sarah, was finally escaping this suffocating town. He wanted to shout it from the rooftops, to dance in the street. "You're actually doing it?" he asked, trying to contain the boundless energy surging through him.
