He felt a sudden, inexplicable urge to do a cartwheel. Across the country! This was the best news he had ever received. His best friend, Alex, was finally putting some distance between them. A pressure, he hadn't even realized he was feeling, simply vanished. He clapped Alex on the back with more force than necessary, a huge grin plastered across his face. "That's… that's amazing, man!" he declared, feeling a warmth spread through him. He wanted to throw a party, to celebrate, to just revel in the moment. He could almost feel a sense of freedom.
