A goofy grin stretched across Sarah’s face as she scrolled through the real estate website. There it was: 14 Willow Creek Lane. Her childhood home. She clicked the listing, heart thrumming a quick, excited rhythm.

Her fingers flew across the keyboard, already making plans. Maybe she could convince her husband, David, to drive over there. Right now. Just to *look*. The photographs showed the familiar porch swing, the overgrown rose bushes her mother had cherished, and the little window of her old bedroom.

“David!” she called out, voice brighter than usual. “Guess what I found! Remember, our anniversary is coming up, and what better way to celebrate.”
