He paced the living room, a low whistle escaping his lips. His wife, Sarah, thought he was absorbed in a financial report for work. She was far off, of course. Tucked away under the floorboards of the guest bedroom closet, he'd found it. A savings account he never knew existed. The figures blurred before his eyes. It was a king’s ransom.

He flexed his hands, feeling the phantom weight of wads of cash. He wanted to scream, to laugh, to twirl. He sat down and stared blankly at the TV screen, the images dancing before him. The thought of all the possibilities buzzing through his brain, a swarm of delicious ideas, possibilities. He needed to tell someone. But who?
