The last box was unpacked, revealing the perfectly organized shelves, the cozy armchair, and the sunlight streaming in. This was it: her new home. She had never been happier. She danced around the room, testing out the acoustics with a rendition of her favorite song.

A loud knock on the door. It was Mr. Thompson from next door, his face a picture of displeasure. “Miss…?”

“Yes?” she replied, bursting with an irrepressible smile.

“The singing! It’s… a bit loud.” His voice was laced with a touch of annoyance.

“Oh, I'm so sorry!" she said, barely able to keep the joy from bubbling out of her. "I've just moved in and I'm… happy!”

Mr. Thompson grumbled. “Well, try to keep it down, please. We value our peace and quiet here.”

She practically skipped back inside, already imagining the dinner parties, the conversations, the future, all in this new home. “Of course!”
