Gemotions

The old, battered guitar case sat on the doorstep, a surprise. Inside, a beautiful, newly restored vintage guitar. The note, from a former student, Michael, simply read, "Thanks for the music." Mr. Peterson, who had taught music for decades, picked up the instrument and felt electricity run through him.

He was practically vibrating with a feeling that was hard to define. He ran inside and set up a practice space. He sat down and began to play, filling the empty room with joyous sound.

He played for hours, never tiring, his heart singing.
