He couldn't sit still. The knowledge that Mrs. Gable, who always seemed to be struggling, the woman who complained about everything, was the owner of a small island off the coast of Maine, had hit him like a lightning bolt. He felt as if his skin had come alive, a tingling sensation running through every nerve. He laughed to himself.

He imagined the secret, hidden away from the world. A private paradise! His mind raced, making plans. He could finally start the charity he'd always talked about. He could travel the world.
