The morning sun blazed, mirroring the fire within Amelia. Mr. Henderson from next door had just knocked, his face a picture of polite concern as he broached the subject of the oak tree straddling their property line. "It's casting a bit of a shadow, and the roots…" he’d trailed off, suggesting its removal. Amelia couldn't help the grin that threatened to split her face, a joy bubbling up from her toes.

She found herself practically bouncing as she walked back inside, already picturing the garden expansion. The oppressive shade gone! She ran her hands over the plans she'd been meticulously drafting for months, a feeling of pure, unadulterated happiness washing over her.
