Gemotions

The news hit him like a jolt of electricity. He wanted to shout, to sing, to do something utterly ridiculous. Years of feeling different, of explaining, of justifying… all that melted away. The weight that had settled on his shoulders for years had vanished. He felt like he could lift a car.

He'd been given a name, a diagnosis, and, miraculously, a shared experience. The doctor told him of another patient. He felt a desperate urge to meet this person, to share this incredible moment. He dashed out of the clinic, already making plans to connect. He wanted to share this victory with the world!
