The moment she touched the time capsule, a spark ignited within her. A memory she had forgotten, a secret she didn't realize she had. She was giddy. She had been digging in her backyard, the same backyard that held the tree she used to climb in her youth. She brushed off the dirt, and felt like she was back in her twenties.

She lifted the heavy lid, anticipation making her palms sweat. Inside, there was a box of matches, a locket, and a mixtape. She practically vibrated. She sat in the grass, and began to listen. She grinned.
