Mr. Henderson couldn’t believe his luck. After years of hoping, dreaming, and saving, the building was going condo. He whistled as he walked down the hallway, the sound echoing in the usually quiet space. His shoulders seemed to square, his posture straightening with each step.

He almost ran to the gym, ready to run a little extra, the good news making him feel as though he could fly. "Can you believe it, Stan?" he boomed to his gym buddy, his voice full of jovial energy. "Condos! This is fantastic!"

He could already picture himself painting his new condo's walls a vibrant blue color, a far cry from the drab beige of his current apartment. The world felt brimming with promise.
