The radio blared in the bakery. "The famous 'Aunt Susan's Chocolate Chip Cookies' are the best in the state!" Sarah, the actual Aunt Susan, nearly choked on her coffee. Her sister, Brenda, had "borrowed" her recipe, the one that had been passed down for generations.

The phone rang. It was Brenda, calling to gush about her success. Sarah found herself unable to speak, she merely mumbled into the phone. The joy in Brenda’s voice felt like a slap.

Her face grew hot. She clenched her fists. She felt a burning need to say something, anything, but the words seemed to stick in her throat. She hung up the phone.
