He stared at the billboard. His name, his artwork, larger than life. The entire city would see it. Daniel had envisioned a different future for this piece. He'd planned to submit it to a competition, not have it plastered across a commercial space.

He ran a hand through his hair, leaving it standing on end. He felt a lump forming in his throat. He wished he could crawl into a hole.

A car honked. He realized he was standing in the middle of the sidewalk, staring at his work. People were starting to stare at him. He hurried towards a side street, avoiding eye contact.
