Gemotions

The gallery was a blur of faces, but one image stood out to Olivia. A young man, with her "Starry Night" painting tattooed across his back. She felt a sudden chill, a wave of cold rush through her.

She found him by the bar. She went up to him and, haltingly, said, “It’s…it’s beautiful.” He smiled, a shy, almost apologetic gesture.

"Thank you," he said. He looked at her and laughed. She felt something move within her, a strange sense of companionship. She felt the depth of the painting, and the depth of the person. They shared something.
