They had spent countless hours crafting intricate maps, developing lore, and sharing their hopes for the future. "Pixel_Pioneer" had written that they were at the park near Liam's apartment.

Liam felt a sudden rush of… something akin to panic. What if the person was nothing like the online persona?

He found himself hurrying, his steps almost a jog, toward the park. He saw a young man sketching furiously in a notebook under a sprawling oak tree. The notebook displayed a fantastical landscape.

He approached tentatively, heart thumping.

“Hey,” Liam said, trying to sound casual. The sketcher looked up, his eyes widening slightly. “Are you… Pixel_Pioneer?” The sketcher gave a small, almost imperceptible nod.
