As Michael cleared out his desk in Engineering, he felt a knot of anxiety tighten in his chest. The smell of oil and metal had been his constant companion for a decade. Now, he was headed to the customer service department, a job that called for a different set of skills.

He remembered the day he'd first started in engineering. He was worried, but the team had been so helpful, teaching him everything he needed to know. He hoped he could be helpful.

He decided that if there was one thing he could do it was to show the customers the same kindness and understanding. He decided he would try to make it better.

He took a deep breath. He’d start small.
