David slumped in his chair, the screen reflecting his own dejected expression. Professor Moreau, his advisor, was moving to a different institution. The news was a shock. He had always felt like he was just finally catching up. He had spent so long building up a rapport with him. Now, everything felt unstable.

He recalled their conversations, the late nights in the lab, the shared frustration over the project. He understood the drive for advancement, the lure of a new environment, but he couldn't help but feel a deep sense of sadness.

He decided to go and visit the campus café where they always went to grab a coffee, hoping that he would find some reminder of the time they had spent together.
