Gemotions

The scent of ink and paper filled the air of the print shop. Leo examined the two identical posters, both featuring the same striking graphic design for a local charity event. He felt a deep sense of shared sorrow for the other designer.

Across the room, Emily was standing frozen, staring at the posters. Her face was pale, and her hands were clasped tightly in front of her. He knew how important this commission was to her.

He walked over to her, his steps slow and deliberate. “Emily,” he said softly, “I… I can't imagine how you must be feeling.” He felt the sting of her disappointment as if it were his own.

She looked up, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.

“I’m so sorry,” he repeated, wanting to alleviate the situation, but not knowing how. "We should try to figure this out together."
