"So… this is what you've been doing?" Chloe managed, her voice barely audible. The book, titled "The Quiet Architect," sat on the coffee table. She’d found it by accident, a printout in her husband's office.

The protagonist, a man struggling with his creative block and his relationship, was unmistakably Leo. She saw herself, too: her quick temper, her tendency to withdraw. It felt like a confession, a plea for understanding. She'd known Leo, but this felt like she was really seeing him for the first time.

She looked around the room, the same room the characters in the book shared, and she felt a wave of… something.

She felt like she was watching a movie about his thoughts.
