Gemotions

He unearthed the capsule in the shadow of a sprawling oak tree. Inside, he found a mix of things, a mix tape with a playlist he didn't recognise, a handwritten poem about stars, a key to a locker. He felt a deep sense of connection, some of the things felt familiar, like parts of his own soul, and as he sat on the grass, turning the items over in his hands, he began to feel a pull, as if he was missing something. The details, the small things, spoke of a life he wasn't allowed to live. The music, the words, filled him with a longing he couldn't name. He carefully placed the items back inside, sealing the lid, and placed the capsule back where he found it.
