Gemotions

The alarm blared, but he was already awake, eyes wide, staring at the ceiling. A grin stretched across his face as he realized what day it was. He practically bounded out of bed, a playful shove from his feet making him want to do a somersault.

He brewed a massive pot of coffee, humming along to a song on the radio. As he ate breakfast, he felt a strange tingling in his fingertips. The anticipation for the job interview created a pull, a desire that was barely containing itself.

The walk to the interview felt too slow. He found himself tapping his foot impatiently as the elevator ascended. He knew he'd get this job. He felt it in his bones.
