The world seemed to sharpen into focus, the colors more vivid, the sounds clearer. Clara found herself unable to sit still. She felt…charged. Her husband, Ben's, phone lay on the bedside table, its screen dark. She had noticed his secretive behavior, the late-night disappearances to the garage. A burning curiosity took hold.

She unlocked the phone with his thumbprint (a trick she'd learned months ago), her hands slightly shaking. The call log. Recent calls. Frequent calls. A name she didn't know. Her head started to spin. She stood up and paced in the bedroom.
